This five-day (30 hour) children’s yoga teacher training is great for:
As a teacher and parent, you spend a lot of the day with your children. As much as you love them, you also need time away from them. In this week, you’ll be able to step away from your busy life and take time to nourish yourself, learn new techniques that restore you and give you what you need to return to your classroom and home revitalized.
Each day will consist of 4 hours of yoga practicum in the morning, and nature outings in the afternoon. Teachers and parents learn and study in depth how to teach creative yoga and movement to children in a simple, loving and practical way through rhymes and stories that are easily learned and remembered. From the practice of children’s yoga, youll also tap into and connect your inner child and creative spark. This will allow you as a parent or teacher to pass that creativity and mindfulness onto your children or students.
We will be learning from the Dancing Spider Yoga class, a simple, sequential musical class, filled with heart-centered mantras plus lots of kids yoga poses. This interactive, scripted class has meditations that are perfect for enhancing a child’s focus. When you become a children’s yoga teacher, you enhance your own discipline and practice.
Vegetarian meals and evening yoga classes are included in the training costs. Each teacher receives a Training Certificate after their completion of 10 Classroom hours and a community service class.
