Join Ajeet Khalsa and Elijah Weikel for a rejuvenating and healing yoga retreat where you’ll slow down, take time for yourself and experience the benefits that mantra, meditation and nature offer us to align and open our hearts together. This retreat is intended to give you what you need for a lovely home practice of recitation and yoga that re-activates your innate sacred knowledge of right path.
In between the chanting programs, you’ll have an opportunity to deepen your experience with the beauty and care of onsite massages, private vocal lessons, and Reiki healing sessions. Just a short drive away are ancient lakes and rivers that after chanting, you can kayak on, walk along and tune yourself into nature.
Ajeet is looking forward to sharing her devotional stories of the Sikh faith and the Shabd Guru, Japa mantra recitation from the Svaroopa yoga traditions, as well as chanting kirtan with musical accompaniment. Elijah and Ajeet will weave together both Kundalini Yoga mantras and heart-chakra healing meditations for encouragement, wisdom, compassion and self-love. With gentle yoga in the mornings and evenings, you’ll experience deep and profound releases of spinal tension and find your way home to your creative potential. This Naad Yoga retreat can help align yourself to your true path in life.

Speciality Workshop I: Strengthen Your Voice and Align your Heart
Vocal practices open your heart chakra, align your thinking and bring deep insight into the confluence of your western voice and your eastern mind. As you merge and integrate your true naad with traditional vocal scales, you gain access to speak your authentic intentions and make things happen! Speaking power to your innate truth, helps heal the anger, hurt or confusion you may struggle with from time to time. Speaking clearly and singing firmly connects you to your pure source of divine love and deep vocal stamina. Living from this inner truth, you become a good and healing resting place for those needing sincere attention, comfort or just a listening ear.
Speciality Workshop II: Naad Yoga–Ignite your Singing for Radical Change
After you’ve opened your throat and heart chakras, and found your singing voice, we’ll go on to chanting traditional Indian prayers invoking blissful peacefulness. As we engage our whole selves in kirtan and ecstatic, free movement, these ancient seed sounds flow through you like sweet honey. Sunnia, or deep listening from the heart space within, allows these unstruck sounds to vibrate your inner cosmic sound current, known as NAAD. We ask these questions: how can this daily chanting free us, quelling our stresses and dissatisfactions? How can this chanting of sound from within, engage us in our lives lovingly and with vigor?
Some benefits of NAAD YOGA
Naad means cosmic sound or vibrations. The sound of the cosmos can resonate within if one tunes into this energy. Through meditation, external singing, and reciting, one quiets the bombardment of random noise in the mind to hear this unstuck sound. Naad Yoga evolves and enlivens the heart chakra, symbolized by two triangles. As one triangle moves up, the other moves down—the sacred spot in the middle, is the Anahata*–the intersection of a divine sound, a heart place, where vibrations of peace abide within.
Anahata means “unhurt, unstruck, and unbeaten”. Anahata Naad refers to the Vedic concept of unstruck sound (the sound of the celestial realm). Anahata is associated with balance, calmness, and serenity.
