"I just wanted to thank you again and let you know that Sewall House changed my yoga practice in an indescribable but profound way" Faith, California, 2008.

Donna, Amrita has been teaching a variety of Yoga styles from Kundalini to Hatha Yoga in New York since 1985 and in a retreat setting since 1997 in northern Maine. Donna & Kent Bonham have produced two Kundalini Yoga DVD's "The Awakening" and "Flexibility and the Spine" in addition to Donna's yoga video "The Challenge".

Donna Amrita Davidge started enthusiastically teaching Kundalini Yoga in 1985. Here her journey as a teacher began. Donna received her spiritual name directly from Yogi Bhajan, continued learning with Gurucharan and other senior Kundalini Yoga teachers, as well as Yogi Bhajan. Donna pursued further studies in Ashtanga Yoga Mysore style with Eddie Stern in NY City from 1999 until the present, as well as weekly classes with Dharma Mittra in New York City. She has also experienced the teachings of Rodney Yee, Anna Forrest, Rod Stryker, Genny Kapuler (Iyengar based) and Gurmukh. Donna maintains a full time teaching practice in New York City when not serving students at Sewall House Yoga Retreat Center in Maine. She is an inspired teacher who continues to avidly pursue avenues to share yoga in a way that is approachable by all. Donna also enjoys writing and has been the yoga columnist for Innertapestry for years. Her articles can also be found online at places like www.yoga.com.

Kent Bonham, originally from Sweden, offers his love of cooking to our guests and music through guitar playing and group chants in the yoga classes. He also has the well-rounded ability to help maintain and run Sewall House. He has been practicing Kundalini Yoga since 1997 and Vinyasa Yoga since 2001. Kent graduated Cum Laude from the City College of New York with a BA in Music. His work with one of the finest catering companies in New York City for the past seven years inspired him to take the leap to cook at the yoga retreat. Kent grew up in the woods of northern Sweden which prepares him well to be your host in this setting. Kent continues to write songs and study yoga. Since 2001, Owners Donna & Kent Bonham have operated their Yoga Retreat Center together in northern Maine in an idyllic and historic family home.
